Monster Island, the Asylum’s mockbuster for 2019, was released just in time with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about a mysterious island where a monstrous creature lives, and the creature is, in a sense, the island itself.


To reduce costs, the film only features a handful human characters. Also, all A-listers will be on one set to allow them to shoot all sequences in lunch. Let's not forget, this is a film about kaiju, so it's pretty much how they work. Maybe The (Monster Island bad movie review) Asylum will be able to do a good job with it.
